Rosebud Scholarship 2021

We are so happy to present our first annual Scholarship supporting Black and Hispanic/Latinx young women that are looking to continue their education, expand their skills, and build their own business!

Our goal is to push forward our future female leaders by showing them that they have support, and we want them to take chances on themselves. With our scholarship, we are looking for girls interested in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), trades/apprenticeships, and/or entrepreneurship; these are all areas where we have seen large gaps

Reasons to encourage Black and Hispanic/Latinx Girls in Education, business, and trades:

  • It is important to break stigmas that discourage Black and Hispanic/Latinx girls from taking on their personal passions

  • Nearly half of all science and engineering occupations are held by white men, while 2 percent of Hispanic women and 2 percent of black women hold similar positions - Nat'l Science Foundation

  • Building of skills and creativity builds confidence, visualization of goals, and socio-emotional development.

"Every girl, no matter where she lives, deserves to develop the promise inside of her" ~ Michelle Obama

Thank you to all that applied. Our scholarship is currently closed. We look forward to opening again for 2022!
